Fake advertisements

The active role of an intermediary with respect to advertisements can lead to the obligation to remove fake advertisements, as the District Court of Amsterdam recently ruled in the case between John de Mol and Facebook. The fact that it costs manpower and money to remove the advertisements (while this turns out to be technically possible) is no reason not to remove the fake advertisements.
