Infringement on trademarks Tommy Hilfiger
Tommy Hilfiger owns various trademarks. Premium has resold clothing of Tommy Hilfiger, on which these trademarks were shown, without Tommy Hilfiger’s permission. According to Tommy Hilfiger Premium infringes the trademark rights of Tommy Hilfiger.
Fake advertisements
The active role of an intermediary with respect to advertisements can lead to the obligation to remove fake advertisements, as the District Court of Amsterdam recently ruled in the case between John de Mol and Facebook.
Good Law expands further in July 2019
After the expansion of the office with the arrival of Sander Verbeek, Good Law expands even further in its first year of existence with the arrival of Jennifer Quik in July 2019.
Identity fraud
In 2019, Good Law assisted a private individual whose personal data were wrongly included in the BKR (the Dutch office for credit registration). An identity fraudster ordered products from various webshops in the name of the private individual and left the invoices unpaid.
Questions referred to the Court of Justice for a preliminary ruling: Is the provision of a copyright protected work to the court communication to the public?
An author has the right to publish or reproduce his/her work. A form of disclosure could be when a work is made available (is communicated) to the public.
Expansion within six months Good Law
